The Stardust Society

"When time first began, the first things that the Universe created were stars. These stars were created with the power of the Universe himself, thus infusing them with magic. Later, other stars came about, ones that formed naturally after the Universe had shown that it could be done. These stars would eventually explode and die, like all stars do, but when Life created the humans, some of them got stardust from those first stars in them. The stardust changed the humans, and gave them special abilities. All of their children ever since have been able to do amazing things. Some day, The Third will find the child of the stars, and bring us full circle back to our ancestry. Then, our people will find the answers that they seek. "

The Stardust Society is an organization of people with extraordinary abilities. Their name comes from an ancient legend that has spread across the globe stating that their powers stem from stardust. No one knows for sure if it's real or not, as the Stardust People's history is largely lost, even to themselves. Before creating a global network, many groups formed completely unaware of each other. Once the American Chapter had enough resources, they set out on an expedition of learning and connected each group into an international community.

However, they weren't allowed to learn in peace for long. The greatest villain of these people also resides in the United States, and after they attacked, the international community feared continuing to contact and support the American Chapter. Now, it has new leaders who learned how to fight for their own survival. They learned how to hide and protect and raise their own. They learned to code, perform medical procedures, even how to budget and cook using rations. They've worked hard over the past eight years to protect their people,

Their leader, Chelsea, is only 16. But she's determined not to let her age determine her people's future. She WILL protect her brothers and sisters. If you've never heard of them until now, that's because of Chelsea's hard work. Now, an old enemy threatens to undo it all, and she has to decide whether to hide in fear, or risk their safety for their freedom.
