Hi! I'd like to use this forum post to talk about some free ways that you can support me and my work! Not everyone knows this, but I self-published Emmett's Story, meaning that I didn't have a big publishing company working with me who could help market my book. As a result, and as a result of not having a budget to publish with, Emmett's Story has only been able to circulate at all thanks to my friends and family. However, you can help, too! Here are some things that you can do to support my work and my ability to write and release the other books in the series:
Post about Emmett's Story on social media! Explain the things you liked and why you think it would be a great book for others to read!
Tell your friends and family about it! Especially people who you know love to read. You can quote me when I say that I promise it'll be a fresh story for them!
Request that your local library, or even school library, order the book. Libraries are a great place to discover new stories, and some of my all time favorites I first picked up in a library!
Leave a review on Amazon! The amazon algorithm cares a lot about reviews, and it will promote books to new readers that have more reviews first. Leaving a review helps both myself and Amazon know how you feel about Emmett's Story!
